A leading UAE manufacturing company operating multiple sites across Dubai, specialising in parts for the industrial energy, water, and oil and gas sectors, was preparing its first comprehensive sustainability report. The ambition was clear, but no digital infrastructure existed to support it.
Environmental data sat in fragmented spreadsheets or was not collected at all. But the gaps went far beyond the environmental pillar. The company ran numerous CSR and community programmes across education, health, environment, and community development, yet had no structured system to document, categorise, or report on them. Social data was scattered and invisible to the reporting process.

On top of this, the company had onsite solar installations but no mechanism to separately track and report renewable energy generation alongside grid electricity consumption. Every dimension of ESG needed to be built from scratch.

The platform was configured with full entity hierarchy, emission factors, data categories, and user access for all of the company's operational sites. To validate functionality and build confidence in the system, the company first uploaded historical data into the platform. Having tested and proven the workflows, the platform is now being used for the live 2025 reporting cycle. A dedicated Social Initiatives Registry was built within the platform to capture all of the company's community and CSR programmes. Each initiative was categorised, tagged by theme, and mapped directly to qualitative reporting sections and corresponding GRI disclosures. This gave the company a structured way to tell its social impact story with the same rigour applied to environmental data.
Separate data streams were also configured for onsite solar generation alongside grid electricity, enabling the company to report its renewable vs. non-renewable energy mix accurately.
